Elika offers significant savings through our authorized dealer network and factory-direct supply chain. On standard uPVC windows you can save 40–46% compared to typical US market retail prices — without sacrificing quality. Our pricing is transparent and available instantly via our online calculator.
No. Our products are stored locally in the US, so you avoid all customs risks, import fees, and international complications. You pay in USD using standard US payment methods — no foreign currency or international wire transfers required.
Our online calculator generates a complete, accurate quote in under 30 seconds. Just enter your window dimensions and configuration — no email required, no waiting. For large or complex projects, our team can also prepare a detailed project quote within 24 hours.
No. All transactions are processed in US dollars through standard US business payment methods. You avoid all international wire fees, currency exchange risks, and the complications of dealing with overseas suppliers.
Yes. We offer flexible financing through Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, and PayPal Pay Later for online orders. If you're purchasing through an authorized dealer, ask them about additional financing programs they may offer. We're committed to making premium European windows accessible regardless of budget.
Many of our window configurations meet the performance thresholds for federal tax credits and local utility rebates. We'll help identify which rebates may apply to your project during your consultation. Please consult your CPA or tax advisor for specific credit eligibility details.
Yes — all custom sizes are ordered directly through our interactive online calculator. Pricing takes about 60 seconds once you have your final measurements and have chosen your system. If you're unsure about sizing or which system is right for you, book a free consultation before making a decision.
Absolutely. We encourage you to experience the quality first-hand. You can request a full window sample — touch it, operate it, and evaluate the build quality before committing to a full project order. Our sample kits are available through our authorized dealers.
Yes. Our uPVC windows are engineered to meet Energy Star and NFRC performance specifications. They carry a U-Factor as low as 0.17 (simulated) and SHGC ratings suitable for hot climates like Texas. All products come with full technical documentation suitable for building permit submissions.
We specialize in premium European uPVC windows. Our current lineup includes the Elika 70 2-Pane, Elika 70 3-Pane (triple glazed), and Elika 60 2-Pane — all featuring Tilt & Turn operation, RC2 multi-point security locking, and triple EPDM gasket sealing. All are available in multiple colors and finishes.
All window systems are available in White, Black, Matte Black, Golden Oak, Walnut, and a wood-effect finish. Color finishes are laminated directly to the uPVC profile for long-lasting durability — they won't peel, fade, or require repainting over the window's lifetime.
uPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride) is the European premium standard, while vinyl is the standard American material. uPVC offers superior thermal insulation, better durability, and significantly better noise reduction. Think of it like comparing a luxury vehicle to an economy car — both work, but the performance and longevity are in a completely different class.
U-Factor measures how well a window insulates — lower is better. The Elika 70 Double Pane system achieves approximately 0.24 W/m²·K, and the Triple Pane system reaches approximately 0.17 W/m²·K. These values reflect very high thermal performance compared to typical market products. All ratings are based on simulated testing; official certifications are currently in progress.
Yes. The space between glass panes is filled with argon gas as standard to improve thermal insulation and reduce heat transfer. Argon is denser than air and slows heat movement between the panes, giving you better energy efficiency year-round.
We offer both. Standard Elika windows come with double glazing (24mm) with argon fill. Triple-pane glazing is available on request for projects requiring maximum thermal or acoustic performance. You can select your glazing type directly in our online quote calculator and see the price difference in under 60 seconds.
Tempered glass is used on full projects exceeding $15,000 in value, and we sometimes offer free upgrades or discounts up to 100% in special promotions. In-stock warehouse windows are generally not tempered by default, but you can select a tempered or laminated glass upgrade in the accessories step of our online calculator.
Standard windows come with clear transparent glass. For custom projects, you can request tinted, reflective, privacy, or decorative glass during your free consultation. Note that in-stock warehouse windows are clear glass only — custom glass options apply to made-to-order projects.
Tilt & Turn is a European operating system with two modes controlled by a single handle. In tilt mode, the top of the sash tilts inward for secure ventilation. In turn mode, the entire sash swings inward like a door for maximum airflow and easy cleaning. The system uses a top hinge and a side arm that can be detached when needed.
For the Elika 70 system, subtract 3.5" from the width and 4.75" from the height to get the net clear opening. Example: a 36" × 60" window has a net opening of 32.5" × 55.25". A 29.75" × 47.75" window yields 26.25" × 43.00", which meets standard egress requirements. Please confirm specific egress compliance with your local building authority.
The rough opening matches the nominal window size. For example, a 35.5" × 59.5" window requires a 36" × 60" rough opening. A 36" × 36" window uses a rough opening of 36" × 36" with frame dimensions of 35.5" × 35.5". Full rough opening tables are in our installation guide, available to download from the product pages or via our AI Assistant.
No. European Tilt & Turn windows are designed for inward opening only — this is fundamental to the European sealing and insulation system. It cannot be modified to open outward. If you need an outward-opening window, a casement or sliding window would be the appropriate alternative.
In tilt mode, the sash cannot be adjusted to 90 degrees — the European system is designed with a fixed safety angle to protect the hinges and frame. In turn (casement) mode, the sash can open fully up to 90 degrees depending on wall clearance.
Yes. Integral blinds (built inside the glass unit) are available as a custom option at additional cost. They operate via magnetic or electric control. This must be specified at the time of ordering and is not available on in-stock warehouse windows.
We partner with Roto Fornax, a leading European premium hardware manufacturer. Their systems provide smooth operation, long-lasting durability, and exceptional security. You'll feel the quality difference every time you open your windows.
The hinges use standard European window-specific screw sizes. Replacement screws and hardware parts are available in our store on request, or free of charge if the window is within warranty coverage.
Yes. Detailed cut sheets and technical data sheets are available for download from our product pages — select the product, then click "View" to find all downloadable files. You can also request a customized spec sheet through our AI Assistant on the website, and it will send full details to your email instantly.
Yes. Fixed or retractable external mosquito screens can be installed. Screens are an optional accessory at additional cost — you can add them and see pricing directly in our online quote calculator when building your quote.
Tilt & Turn windows are portrait-orientation only and cannot be installed horizontally. If you need a wide landscape window, a sliding window would be the correct choice. Contact our team to find the right model for your opening.
Our windows are not yet officially Energy Star or NFRC certified — certification is currently in progress. However, our systems' performance is consistent with Energy Star requirements for thermal and energy efficiency, based on simulated testing. All available performance reports can be requested through our AI Assistant or downloaded from the product pages.
Elika windows are engineered to European standard EN 12210 — C5, which corresponds to approximately 2,300 Pa (≈ 48 psf) wind pressure resistance. Official TDI (Texas Department of Insurance) certification is not yet finalized but is in progress. Please confirm windstorm compliance requirements with your contractor before installation.
Professional installation of a standard window takes 30–45 minutes per window. A typical residential project of 10–15 windows is usually completed in 1–2 days, depending on accessibility and complexity. Installation is performed by our authorized dealer network.
Both. Elika windows are designed with a flexible block-frame system that suits new construction and remodel/replacement projects equally. The window comes with special installation clips instead of a traditional nail fin — these clips work similarly to a nail fin for new construction. For replacement installs, simply remove the clips for a block frame installation. The frame does not come with pre-drilled holes.
Yes. Elika windows can be installed on wood frame walls using direct screws and appropriate sealant. They are also compatible with concrete and steel/metal walls using direct fastening methods. Metal building installations are supported, but please review our policy page as some metal building environments may affect warranty coverage.
Our windows don't come with a traditional nail fin — they use installation clips that function similarly. For replacement (block frame) installations, simply remove the clips and install directly into the existing opening. Detailed step-by-step instructions are available in our installation guide, downloadable from the product page or via our AI Assistant.
In most Texas cities, yes — permits ensure compliance with energy codes and structural requirements. Requirements vary by municipality. Our authorized installer partners often handle permit applications as part of their service. We'll guide you through your local requirements during the consultation process.
We strongly advise against scheduling installation labor, removing existing windows, or beginning demolition until your order has been delivered, inspected, and confirmed correct. Custom windows have 12–14 week lead times, and Elika is not liable for contractor waiting time or cancellation fees resulting from delivery changes.
Yes. Replacement screens can be ordered. Contact our team or use the accessories section of our online calculator. Screens are covered under a 1-year material warranty from the date of delivery.

Absolutely. Our windows have been proven in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia where summers regularly exceed 120°F — far hotter than Texas. The combination of thermal break technology, Low-E glass, and European engineering means your windows perform exceptionally in Texas heat.
Our uPVC windows reduce outside noise by up to 60% — perfect for homes near highways, airports, or busy streets. The multi-chamber frame design and superior triple EPDM gasket sealing create an acoustic barrier that standard American vinyl simply can't match. For maximum noise reduction, ask about triple-pane glazing options.
Most Texas homeowners see a 10–35% reduction in cooling costs after replacing old windows with our European uPVC systems. Exact savings depend on your home's size, current windows, and HVAC system. The investment typically pays for itself within 5–7 years — and the windows last 30–40 years.
Yes. Our Low-E glass coatings block up to 99% of harmful UV rays, protecting your furniture, flooring, and artwork from fading while still allowing natural light into your home. We partner with Guardian Glass for premium Low-E coatings that also reduce heat entering your home in summer by up to 30%.
Not with proper installation and care. Our sealed insulated glass units are manufactured to prevent moisture infiltration between panes. If fogging between the panes occurs, it indicates a seal failure and is covered under our 10-year insulated glass warranty.
Many of our window systems can be configured with impact-resistant glass to meet hurricane and storm resistance requirements. If you're in a coastal or high-wind zone, let us know during your consultation and we'll recommend the right specifications. Our European wind rating (EN 12210 — C5) is strong, and TDI certification is currently in progress.
With proper care, our European uPVC windows are built to last 30–40 years. Compare that to standard American vinyl windows which typically last 20–25 years. The longevity is a key part of the value — you're making a long-term investment in your home's performance and comfort.
