Warranty Policy

Elika stands behind the quality of its custom-made windows and doors. All products are manufactured in Bahrain and shipped worldwide with the following coverage and conditions:

Warranty Coverage

Glass Stress Cracks 1 year Manufacturing defects only; breakage from impact is excluded.
Laminated Glass Units 10 years Repair, replacement, or refund for delamination or defects.
White uPVC Profiles 10 years Peeling, chalking, cracking, flaking, and discoloration.
Powder-Coated Finishes (AAMA 2604) 5 years Standard finish.
Powder-Coated Finishes (AAMA 2605) 10 years Premium finish.
Premium Laminated uPVC Finishes 10 years Surface failure under normal conditions.
Frames / Profiles 10 years Covers workmanship, welds, and reinforcements.
Operational Components (hardware, motors) 5 years Covers defects under normal use.
Screens 1 year Materials only; labor excluded.

Remedies

If a product is confirmed defective under warranty, Elika may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product,
  • Replace the defective component, or
  • Provide a refund or credit (in some cases adjusted for depreciation).

Labor, installation, finishing, and disposal costs are not covered. Warranty service does not reset or extend the original coverage period.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Improper installation or failure to follow Elika’s installation guidelines.
  • Use of non-approved cleaning agents or chemicals.
  • Normal wear and tear, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues that do not affect performance.
  • Damage from building settlement, structural defects, or improper storage/handling.
  • Accidents, misuse, abuse, vandalism, or alteration of the product.
  • Extreme weather conditions or natural disasters (storms, floods, earthquakes, etc.).
  • Relocation or reinstallation at a different site.
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Inspect all products upon delivery and report visible issues immediately.
  • Ensure products are stored indoors or properly weather-protected until installation.
  • Remove protective stickers and films before installation.
  • Follow Elika’s installation and maintenance guidelines.

Claims Process

  • Claims must be submitted through Elika’s support team with photos, order details, and a description of the defect.
  • Elika may request an inspection before approving a claim.
  • Approved claims will be resolved promptly according to the remedies listed above.
